Are Matchless products safe?

Matchless electronic cigarettes contain only water, propylene glycol, glycerol, nicotine, and flavourings. Matchless e-cigarettes, liquids and cartridges have been toxicologically tested. The product also holds CE & RoHS certifications. There has been no long term testing but compared to traditional cigarettes and cigars, Matchless electronic cigarettes can be reasonably assumed to be safer.

What are Disposable Electronic Cigarettes?

Disposable Electronic Cigarettes are the simplest form of electronic cigarettes as they work straight out of the box without any complications of refilling cartridges and charging batteries. Matchless King Size disposable are the same size as a real King Size cigarette.

They are easy to use and ready to use – simply undo the cellophane, take out of the packet remove the plastic cap and smoke like a normal cigarette – no switches – no problems.

Smoke as little or as much as you like and put back into your handy carrying packet. Remember the Matchless Superking range last around 300 puffs – equivalent to 25 – 30 normal cigarettes; the King Size lasts up to 200 puffs and the Aquamiser Cartridges for use with Rechargeables last up to 300 puffs.

What are Rechargeable Electronic Cigarettes ?

Rechargeable electronic cigarettes consist of a battery and a cartridge. They look similar to a real cigarette.

The battery will need to be charged with the USB charger supplied with the starter kit, the aquamiser cartridge is simply screwed on and you're ready to go!. Mains or car chargers are available as options.

What are TANKs and how do they compare to E-Cigs?

TANK style units are refillable using E-liquid which comes in a variety of strengths and flavours. Tanks units are more fiddly to use but they tend to give a bigger vapour effect that standard E-cigs as well as being more economical. Unlike E-cigs, the TANK style units do not look like traditional cigarettes

When do the Coils and Chambers need Changing on TANKS?

Coils have a limited life – typically a few weeks dependent on vaping style, as they are in effect small heating units which eventually burn out. Replace the coil if no vapour comes appears on inhalation when using a fully charged battery or if the fl;avoir becomes unpleasant.

The glass chambers, known and clearomisers, are also provided as spare parts in case if breakage. They are also useful as they allow consumers to switch to a different flavour if liquid without having to clean out the clearomiser. Cleaning should be achieved by rinsing with warm water.

What about rechargeable batteries - how long should they last?

Matchless use lithium ion rechargeable batteries. However with repeated regular (eg daily) use they do lose efficiency. With daily use you may have to purchase a replacement model in around 2 months if performance drops.

A fully charged battery should last up to 300 puffs - the same time approximately as an aquamiser cartridge.

How long will an Aquamiser cartridge last?

With the Matchless rechargeable electronic cigarette, each Aquamiser cartridge should last up to 300 puffs, equivalent to 25 - 30 traditional cigarettes dependent on smoking style.

How should I charge a battery?

Matchless disposable batteries cannot be charged again and should be disposed of appropriately after use.

Matchless rechargeable batteries are supplied with a usb charger. Once the battery has drained (flashes several times quickly at the tip), you can screw it to the usb charger and then either place in a usb slot on a computer or into a mains adaptor. The usb charger will light up red to show power is getting through.

When charging the battery, the tip will glow red during charging and turn off to show when it has charged (usually takes 1.5 to 2 hrs)

When do I have to replace a cartridge in the Matchless Rechargeable?

We recommend you replace the cartridge when the vapour released by your Matchless Rechargeable decreases.

When the battery needs recharging, the LED on the end will flash quickly several times in succession

What is Nicotine?

Nicotine is an alkaloid found in certain plants, predominantly tobacco and in much lower quantities in tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant and green peppers. When absorbed in small amounts, whether from cigarettes, cigars or Matchless, nicotine can cause stimulation, a feeling of relaxation, calmness, and alertness. The effects of nicotine can last from minutes to hours. The carcinogenic properties of nicotine in a standalone form (i.e. separated from smoking or chewing tobacco) have not been evaluated by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. Current available literature indicates that nicotine in standalone form does not promote the development of cancer in healthy tissue and has no mutagenic properties.

Sometimes when I draw I cannot get enough vapour through?

If you look very closely at the metal band between the white battery and orange tip/cartridge sections you will see some very small holes. These are designed to allow air to be drawn into the e-cig on inhalation. Please make sure you are not covering these up with your fingers (applies to both rechargeables and disposables)

How do I switch on Matchless?

Matchless disposables and rechargeables are simple to operate you simply inhale on the device and it switches on automatically.

On TANK refillable units you have to press the switch on the side to activate the unit, then inhale.

How long will a battery last before needing recharging?

The Matchless rechargeable battery lasts for up to 300 puffs per charge.

Is there a guarantee with the purchase?

Disposable electronic cigarettes, coils, cartridges, liquids and batteries are consumable products. On receipt of these items, if any are found to be non working, they can be returned within 28 days for replacement by Matchless.

Should any item be found to be defective within this period please contact Matchless by email on info@matchlessecig.co.uk with full details and we will instruct you on the returns procedure.

The returner will be liable for the costs of postage/shipping to return to Matchless.

Providing that there is no evidence of tampering or misuse, and the item has not been found to be substantially consumed already, Matchless will send a replacement for faulty items.

This is in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

Are Matchless approved as smoking cessation devices?

Matchless products have never been proven to be smoking cessation devices and are not sold or marketed as such. Matchless products are simply an alternative to smoking that offers reduced health risk, freedom to smoke anywhere, no first or second hand smoke, virtually odour free and much cheaper than the cost of traditional smoking.

What is the "smoke" that is released?

The "smoke-like" vapour that is released from the Matchless e cigarette is simply condensation that evaporates into the air within seconds, not unlike the functioning of a humidifier. Matchless e cigarettes leave no visual residue in the air, whereas traditional smoking can leave an unsightly, acrid cloud known to irritate eyes and bother people‘s senses

What does it mean when the indicator light flashes?

The flashing light at the tip of the device indicates that the battery is low and needs to be recharged (rechargeable model). When this occurs on a disposable model it means that the battery is exhausted and the c-cig should be disposed of.
